Natural and Organic Weedkiller Recipe: Water, Vinegar, and Salt

Transforming an uncultivated garden full of weeds into a beautiful, well-tended space is possible with a simple and natural solution. Here’s how to prepare an effective natural weedkiller using water, vinegar, and salt:

Ingredients:

  • 250 grams of salt
  • Water
  • 200 ml of dishwashing detergent
  • 1 tablespoon of sodium bicarbonate (baking soda)

Instructions:

  1. Salt Mixture:
    • Put 250 grams of salt into a container.
    • Add a small amount of water and mix thoroughly.
  2. Transfer to Plastic Bottle:
    • Pour the saltwater mixture into a plastic bottle using a funnel.
  3. Add Dishwashing Detergent:
    • Take a bottle of detergent and pour 200 ml of the product into a graduated container.
    • Pour the detergent into the same plastic bottle containing the saltwater mixture using a funnel.
  4. Include Sodium Bicarbonate:
    • Measure out 1 tablespoon of sodium bicarbonate.
    • Add the sodium bicarbonate to the plastic bottle using a funnel.
  5. Fill with Water:
    • Fill the plastic bottle with water until it is full.
  6. Mix Well:
    • Close the plastic bottle with the lid.
    • Shake the bottle well to ensure all ingredients are mixed thoroughly.
  7. Prepare for Spraying:
    • Pierce the cap of the plastic bottle with a hot fork to create a sprinkler effect.

Application:

  • Use the plastic bottle with the prepared solution to spray areas with weeds and shrubs in the uncultivated garden.
  • Press lightly on the bottle to allow the solution to come out of the perforated cap.

Effectiveness:

  • Wait for a few days (usually four or five) to observe the effectiveness of the solution.
  • The natural weedkiller destroys weeds, allowing for easy removal and rejuvenation of the garden.
